A land capability assessment (LCA) is required for developments that require on-site wastewater treatment and disposal. The LCA determines the sustainable application rate of wastewater and identifies the constraints of the particular parcel of land, taking into consideration the following;
- Soil properties
- Lot Layout
- Topography
- Climate and other factors of the site
The LCA will identify and recommend an appropriate domestic wastewater treatment system for the site.
